Parent Group
The Parent Group's mission is to build a sense of community and tradition that extends beyond the classroom. The group arranges social gatherings throughout the year for the families, and it supports the school in its goals and fundraising. Any level of involvement and commitment is welcome; the group evolves and changes as the Noah's Ark families do.There are two-three room parents per classroom who assists with the communication and organization within each individual class. Some of the duties of the room parents are to facilitate communication between the parents and teachers, to organize the helping hands, to set up parent reading or project times, to organize holiday/end-of-the-year gifts, and to help families within each class make connections. Additionally, the Room Parents lead the Parent Group in terms of scheduling, coordinating, establishing committees, etc., as is necessary dependent upon the goals and needs of the year. The Parent Group welcomes your participation!
